Our team of experts help struggling families

Eliza Waye
Chief Executive
- Day to day running of the charity, which supports young families from diverse communities in Edinburgh, within the national Home-Start framework.
- Reporting to the Board of Trustees and support them in the Charity’s continuing development.

Magda Luszkiewicz
Senior Co-ordinator
- Management and leadership of staff who undertake group or 1:1 work with families
- Some direct work with families including Video Interactive Guidance,Peep, and parenting support
- Support developing local networks and representing Home-Start
- Oversight of activities like trips/holiday programmes/Christmas
- Deputise for Manager (rotate through both roles)
- Part of Senior Management team

Gemma Stoddart
Senior Co-ordinator
- Management and leadership of Family Support Co-ordinators
- Volunteering Lead, with some direct work with volunteers as well as oversight of volunteering recruitment, induction, training and support
- Support developing local networks and representing Home-Start
- Oversight of activities like trips/holiday programmes/Christmas
- Deputise for Manager (rotate through both roles)
- Part of Senior Management team

Nicola Rainey
Family Support Co-ordinator
- Support caseload of home visiting volunteers
- Will have responsibility for North East Locality in Edinburgh, and attend any locality meetings/activities
- Delivery of prep course, annual reviews of volunteers, volunteer recruitment
- Initial assessments of families

Anna Mak
Family Support Co-ordinator
- Support caseload of home visiting volunteers
- Will have responsibility for South East Locality in Edinburgh, and attend any locality meetings/activities
- Delivery of prep course, annual reviews of volunteers, volunteer recruitment
- Initial assessments of families

Danielle Urquhart
Family Support Co-ordinator
- Support caseload of home visiting volunteers
- Will have responsibility for South East Locality in Edinburgh, and attend any locality meetings/activities
- Delivery of prep course, annual reviews of volunteers, volunteer recruitment
- Initial assessments of families

Nancy Little
Group Work Co-ordinator
- Oversight of group work
- Liaise with partner agencies such as peeple
- Develop schedule of group work for each term and with admin support, ensure venues and resources are sourced and maintained
- Support group work volunteers
- Monitoring and evaluation of group work with admin support

Petra Emetuche
Group Work Co-ordinator
- Work with parents/carers to achieve consistent whole family wellbeing
- Create safe spaces for parents and children within groups where they can grow in confidence and learn new skills
- Enable parents/carers to develop their parenting skills and relationships with their children that improves attachment and enhances family learning opportunities

Vanja Zvonic
Perinatal Co-ordinator
- Perinatal is defined by NHS Lothian as the period pre-birth to 3 years
- Direct work in families’ homes delivering short term intervention to support perinatal development (such as Baby Massage, parent infant attachment work, Peep etc.)
- Support volunteers who can undertake Baby Massage/Bookbug/Peep in home
- Link with perinatal networks to develop our services (such as the Perinatal Collaborative, HS Perinatal Champions Network, etc.)

Mandy Hockey
Finance Officer
- Help to manage the finances and accounts of Home-Start Edinburgh
